Where does my website end and the VO site begin?
VETtrak Online Products either replace your existing website or are integrated into it - this page provides information about how this occurs
There are two points in the development process that can be difficult to understand for even technical people, these are the Enrolment Form and the Integration point. This page is designed to try and make the latter a little easier to understand.
While it is possible to purchase an externally hosted version of the RTO ProCMS product, all others are hosted in our Darling Harbour Data Centre and are subject to our Fair Use policy.
As you can see above there are five VETtrak Online products;
- The RTO Pro CMS is a complete website which includes pages generated from VETtrak and other normal web pages. An allocation of web design time is included in the RTO Pro CMS package.
- Both the VO Corporate product and the VO Advanced products integrate at the same point which is at the Programme Type level. A good example of a Programme Type would be "First Aid". An example of a Programme would be "Senior First Aid". Integration at the Programme Type level allows the RTO to publish complex sets of Programmes in a logical manner, allowing VETtrak to properly drive the online marketing, sales and enrolment of Training Courses.
We provide our clients with a page of links which are used by your web designer to link from the navigation on your main website to the VETtrak Online website.
The RTO ProCMS and VO Corporate product utilises both the VETtrak Portals and Enrolment APIs
- Smaller RTOs have two choices in getting started. The VO Basic product is suitable for an RTO that has a relatively small scope. We recommend that this product is only viable where the list of Programmes and a brief description fits on a single page without scrolling. The Product publishes information on Programmes and Occurrences only.
- Smaller RTOs on a tight budget may consider the VO Lite product as a good starting point. Information about Programme Types and Programmes is published and maintained on their own website and NOT maintained by VETtrak. We provide a list of links for your web developer to use to link to your online booking website.
