The standard template integration provides for inclusion of a header and footer navigation section however a pod on the left or right are provided at additional cost and are not available in the VO Lite package. The VO solution to this problem has earned significant praise. In the example below the extra pod is used for links related to general items across most of the website or for specific information relating to Programme Types or Programmes promoted on the website.
The right column content pod below is an excellent example of using this space for promoting upcoming courses, on the home page the column displays courses coming up in the new few days, on Programme Type pages it displays Occurrences for that programme type based on chronology and on Programme page only Occurrences for the Programme are displayed.
