In most Packages it is possible to Customise Your Enrolment Form
The VO Enrolment form is an intuitive wizard that guides prospective Learners through the enrolment process. It is important to think long and hard before you consider customising this form for the following reasons;
- VETtrak requires certain fields within the form and your changes may therefore have unintended consequences.
- AVETMISS requires certain fields in the form and a change may cause compliance issues
- While our Enrolment form is in continual development based on experience, feed back and result analysis, it is already very good at displaying, communicating and recording data in a friendly manner.
Adding Extra Data Fields to the Form
JWGecko is experienced in customising and presenting forms that work for your RTO. Often the form needs to be modified to add extra data capture fields. It is important to remember that the form is not like a paper form in that the data from the forms goes into a database, what part of the database is a key issue. The Enrolment API provided by OzSoft allows us to read and write many fields in VETtrak. If the extra field you require in the form is NOT in the allowed fields then we have two options; we are able to commission a Custom API from OzSoft for the purpose or we can configure the form to send an email up or date another database dependent on the requirements. Often OzSoft API customisation is inexpensive and provides a long term administration saving where applied appropriately.
