Menus on your VO Website

When you have a main website and a VO website they need to be set up to seamlessly move website visitors from one site to the other and back. This can be achieved relatively simply however it requires some thought early on in the project.

One of the first operational tasks in a VO development is to choose a page on your website that is the template to be use for the VO website. generally this is a normal 'content' that is wide enough to take the VO Enrolment form - 600px. Having chosen the page is is then usual to develop a strategy for handling the other navigation on the page, generally a header and a footer menu is included.

When the JWGecko team copy the header or the footer image below they become static, this means if you change the navigation items on your own website the VO website will not change. Therefore some thought needs to be given to which menu items really need to be there to reduce the changes required to the VO website. The same applies to the footer menu displayed below.

You will notice that there is a date in the footer displayed above, if you visit the website again at one minute after midnight on New Years Eve the year will have changed and be correct. JWG codes each of our VO sites in this way so your Copyright date - which is very important - is always right.

JWGecko is also experienced in developing coding mechanisms that will keep your main websites navigation and your booking sites navigation in sync. If you would like us to quote on providing this functionality then please let customer service know.
