x VET Online Lite

VET Online Lite [VOL] is an entry level product for smaller RTOs. While this product is 'Lite' it is both useful and powerful and we are as flexible as we can be in terms of what is delivered.

The product is really a two page website that is published within the shell of your existing website. The first page has details about your training course [Programme] along with a calendar or a list of the course dates coming up.

When the client puts their mouse over the date they are interested in, the location and cost are displayed. Clicking on the shopping basket icon takes the client to the AVETMISS enrolment page with the details of the course already displayed. The prospective student completes the enrolment form and either pays by credit card or requests an invoice [either or both, you choose].

The credit card payment mechanism must use the JWGecko preferred supplier.

Whether we like it or not, the Internet is about instant gratification and so we include information about the Programme and a list of Occurrences on the same page. We recommend the Programme information has a long and a short version; the long version goes on the first page above the calendar and the short version goes at the top of the enrolment form below the information about the Occurrence; this reminds the client what they are signing up for and adds to their confidence levels, which improves successful completion rates.

The long version of the description of the Programme is stored in the VET Online module and the shorter version is administered in VETtrak under the Programme description field.

Quick & Easy: Some clients simply use the description from VETtrak and are happy with a simpler cleaner approach. We don't mind which you choose, as long as the decision is made at the beginning of the project.

Non-AVETMISS Form: Yes you can have our simple form instead of the AVETMISS form for your VOL product, however, only one form type is available for this product and again, this decision must be made before the site is built.

Payment Options: You can choose to have payment by credit card as your only method of payment or you may choose to allow your students to request an invoice.

Web Design: It is important in building online trust that your enrolment site and your own website are identical. There are several ways to achieve this. As standard we will provide you with code to give to your web designer to include in your website for each programme. At the beginning of the project we will give you a list of design styles including the fonts and colours required, with this you will be able to tell us exactly how you would like the pages to look on your website. You may use any colours and fonts available within the normal CSS framework at no extra cost.
