Hosting: Your Server Your Environment
JWGecko products may be hosted on your own server in whichever environment you wish. In this case there is a licence fee for the stand-alone version of the software. The cost is dependent on the licenses involved. An SLA is recommended however this is not mandatory.
We recommend a server with a minimum of 2 CPU, 8gb ram, 200gb storage with Windows Server 2008. Our database of choice is MySQL. The server install requires a copy of Adobe ColdFusion.
Software maintenance of 20% of the license fee is mandatory at the end of year one and is strongly recommended after the initial commitment to ensure the server is up to date with the latest versions of our products and that of the student management software, if utilised.
* The 'Your Server' license fees apply even if JWG is managing the server in your environment.
